Harveen founded VIS-3 recognising that universities and governments require support with developing entrepreneurship programmes.
Harveen was previously a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Royal Holloway University of London, where she coached students to develop their business ideas and led courses on Technology Entrepreneurship, New Venture Creation and Global Business Strategy. She also designed the BSc Management with Entrepreneurship programme, which has since been oversubscribed each year.
Harveen is an experienced mentor and coach for early stage and growth entrepreneurs on programmes including MassChallenge UK, 3 Day Startup and the Queen Mary InQUBEate programme. She judged the European Business Plan competition in 2014 Harveen gained her PhD in Entrepreneurship from Imperial College London.

Zoltan J. Acs, Ph.D. is author, writer, scholar, teacher social entrepreneur—the leading advocate for the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in economic growth and social development. He is University Professor in the School of Policy, Government and International Relations (SPGIA) and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy (CEP) at George Mason University. He is also a visiting professor at Imperial College Business School in London. He has served as Chief Economist at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) under two U.S. presidents.
As a social entrepreneur he is the founder and President of The GED(I)nstitute, a global think tank, based in Washington D.C. and London, UK that creates both economic value and social value. With Dr. Laszlo Szerb he is the creator of the Global Entrepreneurship Index (GEI) that is a roadmap and compass to track the gearing up of the global entrepreneurial ecosystem. The GEI is jointly promoted with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and the White House in 130 countries.
Daniel King is the COO of Profitero and a non-executive director for several public and private companies, advising them on their business model, growth and investment strategies. He is a mentor and judge on London Business School’s MBA Entrepreneurship Programme, and is also an advisor and mentor with technology incubator Seedcamp.
Daniel was previously Head of High Growth and Emerging Markets for UK Trade & Investment and a Managing Partner at Blue Leaf Capital, a private boutique venture capital and advisory services company based in London. Prior to this Daniel’s roles included Managing Director of Compete Inc, Chief Commercial Officer for MySupermarket.co.uk and Managing Director of Experian Hitwise.
